Bird Watching
The island of Nevis is home to more than 156 gorgeous bird species – from the astonishing Hummingbirds, found supping on the flowering Heliconias to elusive Bridled-quail Doves. The shores, mountain valleys and coastal lagoons host yet more stunning species – including nocturnal herons and swifts gracing the night sky and the early dawn – each one a beautiful sight in an idyllic location.
Horseback Riding
Discovering the history, the majesty and the beauty of the island on horseback, while riding along beach and trails that cover the island is a truly unique experience – and one celebrated by locals, who know the gentle and beautiful horses by name and love them as much as you will. Rides and lessons can be organised in groups and for individuals by our Concierge.
Botanical Gardens
The Botanical Gardens of Nevis are filled with an amazing variety of tropical trees, plants and flowers from all around the world. Sumptuous colors, shapes and combinations can be found throughout these beautifully maintained and thoughtfully landscaped gardens. The tropical fruits, vines, herbs, joyful butterflies and wonderful fountains and waterfalls make the gardens a true highlight of the island.
Kayaking

Cycling
The island of Nevis is 36 square miles in size with a 20-mile main road that runs around it, making it perfect for cyclists of all levels. Nevis is also a mountain biking paradise with both single and double track trails and challenging or easy rides. Our Concierge can help you organise island bike rentals through local specialist shops.
Deep Sea Fishing
The waters around Nevis are teeming with game fish such as tuna, barracuda, sailfish, blue marlin, wahoo and mahi mahi. Our Concierge would be delighted to arrange a trip with our local professional fishermen for an island fishing experience like none other. In mid-October, the island hosts the Nevis Sports Fishing Tournament, inviting visitors and keen anglers can register to take part in this remarkable tournament.
Golf
The world-class golf courses on Nevis offer golfers an extraordinary golfing experience in a unique tropical setting. The facilities are exemplified by the Robert Trent Jones II 18-hole, par 71 course at the Four Seasons Resort. Sailing and Yatchs
For the perfect day’s sailing in the clear blue, warm, waters of the Caribbean, you can privately charter a yacht. There are various sailing and yachting companies that will take you to the best snorkelling spots and to beautiful secluded, white sandy beaches. Choose to sit back and relax or get involved sailing the boat.
Scuba Diving
Immerse yourself in an astonishing world of reefs, wrecks and volcanic vents, just minutes offshore in the beautiful waters in Nevis. Known for our colorful sea life, we are exceptionally proud of our famous giant 800-900 pound Leatherback and Hawksbill turtles, among which you can swim on your dive. 5-Star PADI Certification training may be completed in the privacy of your pool as well as your first beach dive off the shores of your own villa at Paradise Beach.
Cricket
Cricket is the island’s favourite sport – played and watched with huge enthusiasm, both on a local and regional level. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this true British tradition played by cricket lovers in this unique setting. Adult matches are played on Thursdays between January and mid-July in Charlestown’s Grove Park.
