Nevis boasts more than just outstanding natural beauty. Historical sites and landmarks can be found throughout the island. Buildings dating back to the 1700s, World Heritage areas and the sites of historic moments await you.

The island of Nevis is home to more than 156 gorgeous bird species – from the astonishing Hummingbirds, found supping on the flowering Heliconias to elusive Bridled-quail Doves. The shores, mountain valleys and coastal lagoons host yet more stunning species – including nocturnal herons and swifts gracing the night sky and the early dawn – each one a beautiful sight in an idyllic location.

Discovering the history, the majesty and the beauty of the island on horseback, while riding along beach and trails that cover the island is a truly unique experience – and one celebrated by locals, who know the gentle and beautiful horses by name and love them as much as you will. Rides and lessons can be organised in groups and for individuals by our Concierge.

The Botanical Gardens of Nevis are filled with an amazing variety of tropical trees, plants and flowers from all around the world. Sumptuous colors, shapes and combinations can be found throughout these beautifully maintained and thoughtfully landscaped gardens. The tropical fruits, vines, herbs, joyful butterflies and wonderful fountains and waterfalls make the gardens a true highlight of the island.

Go hiking in the forests, veer off down trails and stroll along the beach – taking in the island’s rich history with the guides available, and learning about its stunning flora and fauna along the way. The climb up Nevis Peak is not to be missed, and your Concierge will be on hand to arrange just the right hiking tour experience for your stay.

The Zipline tour offers an outstanding excursion through the St. Kitts Rainforest and over the Wingfrield River. Also, you’ll glide lines that will give you a picture-perfect view of Brimstone Hill and the famous “Valley of the Giants”, which is the home to some of the largest trees on the island.
